  1. Draw a histogram of the given distribution.

  2. In side the highest rectangle, which represent the maximum frequency (or modal class), draw two lines KN and IL diagonally from the upper corners N and I of adjacent rectangles.

  3. Through the point Q (the point of intersection of diagonals), draw QR perpendicular to horizontal axis.

  4. The value of point R on the horizontal axis represents the value of mode.

∴ Mode = 82.5
