Answer

For article A,

M.R.P. = ₹ 850

GST = 12%

Amount = M.R.P. + G.S.T.

= ₹ 850 + ₹ 12100×850\dfrac{12}{100} \times 850

= ₹ 850 + ₹ 102

= ₹ 952.

For article B,

M.R.P. = ₹ 1200

GST = 18%

Amount = M.R.P. + G.S.T.

= ₹ 1200 + ₹ 18100×1200\dfrac{18}{100} \times 1200

= ₹ 1200 + ₹ 216

= ₹ 1416.

Extra money to be paid = ₹ 1416 - ₹ 952 = ₹ 464.

Hence, for article A Rita paid ₹ 952 and extra money to be paid = ₹ 464.
