Draw a histogram of the given distribution.
In side the highest rectangle, which represent the maximum frequency (or modal class), draw two lines TU and VW diagonally from the upper corners T and V of adjacent rectangles.
Through the point Z (the point of intersection of diagonals), draw QZ perpendicular to horizontal axis.
The value of point Q on the horizontal axis represents the value of mode.

∴ Mode = 96
Hence, mode = 96.
