A dealer from Banaras supplies goods/services, worth ₹ 1,00,000 to a dealer in Bangalore at 30% discount. If the rate of GST is 5%, find the amount of bill in Bangalore.

For dealer in Bangalore,
C.P. of goods = S.P. for dealer in Banaras - Discount
= ₹ 1,00,000 - ₹
= ₹ 1,00,000 - ₹ 30,000
= ₹ 70,000.
Since, transaction is inter-state.
So, IGST = 5%
Amount of bill = C.P. + IGST
= ₹ 70,000 +
= ₹ 70,000 + ₹ 3500
= ₹ 73,500.
Hence, amount of bill in Bangalore = ₹ 73,500.
