x-intercept = 5 and y-intercept = 3
When x-intercept = 5; corresponding point on the x-axis = (5, 0)
When y-intercept = 3; corresponding point on the y-axis = (0, 3).
By point-slope form,
⇒ y - y1 = m(x - x1)
⇒ y - 0 = (x - 5)
⇒ 5y = -3(x - 5)
⇒ 5y = -3x + 15
⇒ 3x + 5y = 15.
Hence, equation of line is 3x + 5y = 15.
