By distance formula,

d = (x2x1)2+(y2y1)2\sqrt{(x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2}

Let P(x1, y1) and Q(x2, y2) be the given points

Co-ordinates of P = (0, 0)

Co-ordinates of Q = (36, 15)

PQ=(360)2+(150)2=362+152=1296+225=1521=39.PQ = \sqrt{(36 - 0)^2 + (15 - 0)^2} \\[1em] = \sqrt{36^2 + 15^2} \\[1em] = \sqrt{1296 + 225}\\[1em] = \sqrt{1521} \\[1em] = 39.

Hence, distance between (0, 0) and (36, 15) = 39 units.
