What is the area of a rhombus whose diagonals are 12 cm and 16 cm?

Area of rhombus = × d1 × d2, where d1 and d2 are diagonals.
Substituting the values we get,
Area of rhombus = × 16 × 12
= 8 × 12 = 96 cm2.
Hence, area of rhombus = 96 cm2.
