Let length of each side of rhombus = x cm.
Given,
Perimeter = 45 cm
⇒ x + x + x + x = 45
⇒ 4x = 45
⇒ x = cm
By formula,
Area of rhombus = base × height
Substituting the values we get,
Area of rhombus = × 8 = 90 cm2.
Hence, area of rhombus = 90 cm2.
