Steps of construction:

  1. Draw a line segment AC = 5 cm.
  2. With centre A and C and radius 4 cm, draw arcs intersecting each other above and below AC at D and B.
  3. Join AB, BC, CD, DA and BD. The ABCD is the required rhombus.
