Using ruler and compasses only construct
(i) a triangle ABC in which angle ABC = 45°, AB = 8.6 cm and BC = 9.8 cm
(ii) construct a circle of radius 2.5 cm which touches the arms of the angle BAC of △ABC given above.

Steps of construction :
Draw a line segment AB = 8.6 cm
Construct ∠ABX = 45°.
From B draw an arc of length 9.8 cm intersecting BX at C.
Join AC.
Draw angle bisector of ∠A.
At a distance of 2.5 cm from AB draw a line parallel to AB which intersects angle bisector at O.
Draw a circle with centre O which touches the arms of ∠BAC.
