Answer

Substituting x = 2 and y = 3 in the L.H.S. of the equation x2+y3=0\dfrac{x}{2} + \dfrac{y}{3} = 0, we get :

L.H.S. = 22+33\dfrac{2}{2} + \dfrac{3}{3}

= 1 + 1

= 2

Since, L.H.S. ≠ R.H.S.

∴ The line x2+y3=0\dfrac{x}{2} + \dfrac{y}{3} = 0 does not passes through the point (2, 3).

Hence, the statement is false.
