To insert an action button in a slide, follow these steps:

Step 1: Select the slide on which the action button is to be inserted.

Step 2: Click the Insert tab and then the Shapes button in the Illustrations group.

Step 3: Select an action button from the Action Buttons section. The mouse pointer will take the shape of '+' sign.

Step 4: Bring the pointer on the selected slide.

Step 5: Drag the pointer to draw the shape of the button. An Action Settings dialog box will appear on the screen. It will display the selected button's action in the Hyperlink to box.

Step 6: Click on the Play sound box to play a sound with the action button.

Step 7: Click OK.

The action button will be inserted on the slide.
