To insert the data from a file to a slide, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the PowerPoint presentation where we want to import data from the other application.
Step 2: Select the slide from the left pane or insert a new slide and then switch to the Insert tab.
Step 3: Click the Object button in the Text group and an Insert Object dialog box will appear.
Step 4: Select and click the Create from File radio button.
Step 5: Click the Browse button and the Browse window will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Select the data file from the source drive and click OK. The Insert Object will appear on the screen that will show the entire path of the source file.
Step 7: Click OK.
The data will be inserted in the selected slide of the presentation.
