Find the surface area and volume of a cube whose one edge is 7 cm.

Answer

Given,

Length of edge of cube (a) = 7 cm

By formula,

Surface area of cube = 6a²

= 6 × (7)²

= 6 × 7 × 7

= 294 cm².

Volume of cube = a³

= (7)³

= 7 × 7 × 7

= 343 cm³.

Hence, surface area and volume of cube = 294 cm² and 343 cm³ respectively.
