Find the radius and circumference of a circle whose area is 144π cm².

Let radius = r cm.

Area of circle = πr²

⇒ 144π = πr²

⇒ r² = 144

⇒ r = $\sqrt{144}$ = 12 cm.

Circumference of a circle = 2πr

= $2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 12$

= $\dfrac{528}{7} = 75\dfrac{3}{7}$ cm.

Hence, radius = 12 cm and circumference = $75\dfrac{3}{7}$ cm.
