Find the image of the point P(-3, -5) in the line y = -2.

We know that the reflection of the point (x, y) in the line y = a is the point (x, -y + 2a).

∴ The image of the point P(-3, -5) under reflection in the line y = -2 is the point P'(-3, -(-5) + 2 × (-2)) i.e., the point P'(-3, 1).

Hence, the image of the point (-3, -5) in y = -2 is (-3, 1).
