Slope of the line through (0, 5) and (1, 3) = .
By point-slope form,
⇒ y - y1 = m(x - x1)
⇒ y - 5 = -2(x - 0)
⇒ y - 5 = -2x
⇒ 2x + y = 5.
Hence, equation of line is 2x + y = 5.
