The above equation, 3y = 12 - 2x can be written as :
⇒ 3y = 12 - 2x

When x = -3, y = 4 - = 4 - (-2) = 6,
x = 0, y = 4 - = 4,
x = 3, y = 4 - = 4 - 2 = 2.
