Construct a cyclic quadrilateral ABCD in which AC = 4.5 cm, ∠ABC = 45°, AB = 3 cm and AD = 2.3 cm.
Answer
Steps of construction :
Draw a line segment AC = 4.5 cm.
Draw ∠CAE = 45°.
Draw XY, the perpendicular bisector of AC.
Mark O the point of intersection of AE and XY.
With O as center and OA as radius draw a circle.
From A, mark an arc AD = 2.3 cm and AB = 3 cm.
Join CD and BC.
Hence, ABCD is the required quadrilateral.
