V = 220 V
t = 2 hr = 7200 s
P = ?
We know
Power (P) = Voltage (V) x Current (I)
Substituting the values, we get
P = 220 × 5 = 1100 W
The energy consumed by the motor (E) = P × T
Substituting the values, we get
E = 1100 × 7200
= 79,20,000 J
= 7.92 × 106 J
Hence, power of the motor is 1100 W and the energy consumed is 7.92 × 106 J.
