Answer

(a) HCl gas is denser as it's vapour density = 18.25, and that of ammonia is 8.5. HCl gas is collected by the upward displacement of air.

(b) NH3 + HCl ⟶ NH4Cl

(c) (i) 2NH3 + 3CuO ⟶ 3Cu + 3H2O + N2

(ii) NH3 + 3Cl2 ⟶ 3HCl + NCl3
