The Newton’s third law states —
“To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction”.
So, when a bullet is fired from a gun, a force F is exerted on the bullet (action) and the gun experiences an equal recoil R (reaction) as shown.
Hence, Newton's third law is obeyed.
