Given, the point (-3, 0) is the image of point (3, 0) and (-2, -3) is the image of point (2, -3) in the same line.

(i) The mirror line is y-axis.

(ii) Since, the mirror line is y-axis. We know that,

Rule to find reflection of a point in y-axis :

  1. Change the sign of abscissa i.e. x-coordinate.
  2. Retain the ordinate i.e. y-coordinate.

Let C be the point (-3, -4).

∴ C' (3, -4) is the image on reflection of C (-3, -4) in y-axis.

Hence, the reflection of (-3, -4) in y-axis is (3, -4).
