In right angle triangle ABC,
⇒ AC2 = AB2 + BC2
⇒ AC2 = (12)2 + (5)2
⇒ AC2 = 144 + 25
⇒ AC2 = 169
⇒ AC = = 13 cm.
From figure,
radius of semi-circle (r) = = 6 cm.
Perimeter of shaded region = AC + CB + Circumference of semi-circle
= 13 + 5 + πr
= (18 + 6π) cm.
Hence, Option 4 is the correct option.
