(b) This monument was built by Shah Jahan. Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal as her mausoleum. The method of decoration of this monument is called pietra dura.
(c) The four features of this monument which reflect the Mughal style of architecture are:
- The massive central dome of Marble.
