In ΔMNL and ΔQPR,

⇒NMPQ=2.55=12\Rightarrow \dfrac{NM}{PQ} = \dfrac{2.5}{5} = \dfrac{1}{2}

⇒MLQR=510=12\Rightarrow \dfrac{ML}{QR} = \dfrac{5}{10} = \dfrac{1}{2}

∴NMPQ=MLQR=12\therefore \dfrac{NM}{PQ} = \dfrac{ML}{QR} = \dfrac{1}{2}.

∠M = ∠Q = 70°.

Hence, ΔMNL ~ ΔQPR by S.A.S. axiom.
