As we know that,

f=1Tf = \dfrac{1}{T}

and T for a seconds’ pendulum = 2s.

So, substituting the value of T in equation above we get,

f=12f=0.5f = \dfrac{1}{2} \\[0.5em] \Rightarrow f = 0.5

Hence, the numerical value of the frequency of oscillation of a seconds’ pendulum is 0.5 s-1.

No, it does not depend on the amplitude of oscillation.
