(3x-1)2 - (3x-2)(3x+1) = [(3x-1)2] - [(3x-2)(3x+1)]
= [(3x)2 - 2(3x)(1) + (1)2] - [(3x)2 + 3x - 6x - 2]
= (9x2 - 6x + 1) - (9x2 - 3x - 2)
= 9x2 - 6x + 1 - 9x2 + 3x + 2
= -3x + 3
= 3 - 3x
