From figure,

D divides the line segment OP in the ratio 4 : 1.

Let co-ordinates of D be (x, y).

By section-formula,

(x, y) = (m1x2+m2x1m1+m2,m1y2+m2y1m1+m2)\Big(\dfrac{m1x2 + m2x1}{m1 + m2}, \dfrac{m1y2 + m2y1}{m1 + m2}\Big)

Substituting values we get :

(x,y)=(4×0+1×04+1,4×10+1×04+1)=(05,405)=(0,8).\Rightarrow (x, y) = \Big(\dfrac{4 \times 0 + 1 \times 0}{4 + 1}, \dfrac{4 \times 10 + 1\times 0}{4 + 1}\Big) \\[1em] = \Big(\dfrac{0}{5}, \dfrac{40}{5}\Big) \\[1em] = (0, 8).

Hence, Option 4 is the correct option.
