In the following figure, find the value of x:

Since, △ABC is an isosceles triangle with AB = AC.
∴ ∠B = ∠C = y°
Sum of angles of triangle = 180°.
⇒ 50° + y° + y° = 180°
⇒ 50° + 2y° = 180°
⇒ 2y° = 180° - 50° = 130°.
⇒ y° = 65°.
From figure,
⇒ x° + y° = 180°
⇒ x° + 65° = 180°
⇒ x° = 180° - 65° = 115°.
Hence, x = 115°.
