Given, power P = 100 kW = 100 x 103 W, force F = 50,000 N

Power P = Force (F) x Speed (v)

Substituting the values we get,

100×103=50,000×vv=100×10350,000v=2ms1100 \times 10^3 = 50,000 \times v \\[0.5em] \Rightarrow v = \dfrac{100 \times 10^3 }{50,000} \\[0.5em] \Rightarrow v = 2 m s^{-1}
