Sum of first 12 natural numbers = 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 + 10 + 11 + 12 = 78.

M=7812=6.5M = \dfrac{78}{12} = 6.5

Hence, the mean of the first twelve natural numbers = 6.5
