(i) The above distribution is discontinuous, converting into continuous distribution, we get : Adjustment factor = (Lower limit of one class - Upper limit of previous class) / 2 = = 0.5 Subtract the adjustment factor (0.5) from all the lower limits and add the adjustment factor (0.5) to all the upper limits. From point S draw a line parallel to x-axis touching y-axis at point T. From graph, T = 111. ∴ 111 students score less than or equal to 75%. Students scoring above than 75% = 120 - 111 = 9. Hence, 9 students score more than 75%.
