So, area of triangle = 12\dfrac{1}{2} × base × height

14=12×7×h14×27=hh=287h=4cm\Rightarrow 14 = \dfrac{1}{2} \times 7 \times h \\[1em] \Rightarrow \dfrac{14 \times 2}{7} = h \\[1em] \Rightarrow h = \dfrac{28}{7} \\[1em] \Rightarrow h = 4 \text{cm}
