Akshay buys 350 shares of ₹ 50 par value of a company. The dividend declared by the company is 14%. If his return percent from the shares is 10%, find the market value of each share.

Given,
Rate of dividend = 14%
Dividend on ₹ 50 = = ₹ 7.
Given,
Return percent from the shares is 10%.
∴ Interest on ₹ 100 = = ₹ 10.
∴ ₹ 7 will be interest on = ₹ 70.
Hence, market value of each share = ₹ 70.
