3, 5, 7, 3, 8, 0, 1, 4 and 6. Find the median of these marks.

Arranging the given data in ascending order :
0, 1, 3, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
Here, n = 9. Since, n is odd.
By formula,
Median = th term.
Substituting values we get,
Median = = 5th term.
Here, 5th term = 4.
Hence, median = 4.
