A racing car has a uniform acceleration of 4 ms-2. What distance will it cover in 10 s after start?

Given,
Initial velocity (u) = 0
Acceleration (a) = 4 ms-2
Time period (t) = 10 s
According to the second equation of motion,
S = ut + at2
Substituting we get,
S = 0 + x 4 x 10 x 10
= 200 m
∴ The car will cover a distance of 200 m.
