In a random experiment of tossing coin once, total number of possible outcomes are 2 which are Head (H) and Tail (T)
(i) Favourable outcome is 'getting a tail'.
∴ Number of favourable outcome = 1.
P(getting a tail) = .
Hence, the probability of getting a tail = .
(ii) Favourable outcome is 'not getting a tail' or 'we can say getting a head'.
∴ Number of favourable outcome = 1.
P(not getting a tail) = .
