A body starts from rest with a uniform acceleration of 2 m s-2. Find the distance covered by the body in 2 s.

According to equation of motion —
S = ut + at2
Where,
distance covered = S
initial velocity u = 0
acceleration a = 2 m s-2
time t = 2 s
Substituting the values in the formula for u = 0 , we get,
Hence, distance covered = 4 m
