As we know,

linear momentum (p) = mass (m) x velocity (v)

Given,

v = 2 m s-1

m = 5 kg

Substituting the values in the formula above we get,

p=5×2p=10p = 5 \times 2 \\[0.5em] p = 10 \\[0.5em]

Hence, linear momentum = 10 kg m s-1
